Moderate Tropical Storm James was the 6th depression and 4th storm of the 2029 northeast Atlantic hurricane season.
Meteorological History[]
Late on July 31,Forecasters at RSMC Cabo Verde began to worry of a mid-season storm severely affecting the Western Sahara.The system quickly developed into Tropical Depression Six,just two days later.Six intensified slowly,obtaining Moderate Tropical Storm status on August 4.On August 5, the system reached peak intensity and remained like so for 30 hours,before weakening and quickly dissipated before impacting Spain.The extratropical remnants of the storm later became Cyclone Emma in the UK, doing minimal damage.
