Retirement[]

In March 2001, the names Gilbert, Issac, Keith, Leslie and Michael were retired and will never be used again for an Atlantic hurricane name. They were replaced by Gordon, Ibrahim, Kirk, Lauren and Manny for the 2006 season respectively.
