All of them were named, 8 became hurricanes, and 3 of them became major hurricanes, All of the three major hurricanes stayed away from land, the seasons damage and deaths were weak, with US$500,000 in damage and 75 deaths, the strongest type of storm in this season, due to how weak the season was, is Category 4 Hurricane Allison, which did not affect land.
