On June 27, a tropical depression formed. This depression fastly orginized to strengthened to Tropical Storm Alberto. Then on June 29, a heat wave caused Alberto to explode to a Category 4 hurricane. The day later, Alberto became a Category 5 hurricane. It attained its peak intensity of 190 mph and 904 mbar. This came to a end on July 14, which it rapidly weakened to a Ex-tropical Depression and dissipated.
On July 4 a tropical wave strengthened to Tropical Depression Two. The depression briefly became subtropical then tropical. Later that day, it became a Unnamed TS, which was named on July 5 when it became a hurricane. Beryl turned towards the left then right. Later on the 13th of July, Beryl strengthened to a Category 2. An eye started to devlop, and Beryl had a pressure of 980 mbar. On July 18, TD Beryl made landfall in Florida and dissipated.
Chris was a really short-lived storm. It was first named on July 19 at 1:45 AM UTC. Then it made landfall at July 19-20 midnight UTC. It shortly dissipated after landfall.
Tropical Depression Five was named Ernesto by some not-smart person of NHC. TD Ernesto strengthened to a Category 1 hurricane, which some guy gave it warm waters. It later dissipated.
After the season in Spring 2019, the names Florence, Joyce, Nadine, Patty, Sara, and Valerie were retired and will never be used for a Atlantic hurricane ever again. They were replaced with Flossie, Jamie, Nathania, Prudence, Susan, and Valentine for 2024. After the 2024 season, Jamie was retired and replaced with Jane.
