Retirement[]

In April 2013, The World Meteorological Organization retired four names: Gordon, Kirk, Nadine, and Valerie due to extreme damages and death toll. They will never be used again to name an Atlantic hurricane. They were respectively replaced with Gregorio, Kent, Noreen, and Vanessa for the 2018 Atlantic Hurricane Season.
