The 2035 Atlantic Hurricane Season was the most active hurricane season since the 2030 season, and the first above average season since 2028. This season marked the end of the mini inactive era and the return of Atlantic activity. The season started on July 27 with Hurricane Arlene, and ended with the dissipation of Tropical Storm Ophelia on November 14. Notable storms include Hurricane Arlene, a destructive Florida hurricane, Hurricane Katia, the first category 5 hurricane since Holly in 2030, and Hurricane Miranda, an unusual Caribbean hurricane that caused low land impact.
The activity of 2035 was the result of neutral conditions, and the return of near-normal SSTs. The season also featured below average wind shear across the basin, which allowed for many intense storms this season.
The list of names below was used to name storms in 2035. This is the same list used in 2029, and any names not retired from this list will be re-used in 2041. The names Ben and Fausto used for the first time in 2035.
