Tropical Storm Andrea[]

Andrea formed east of the Bahamas. 25 hours later Andrea became a tropical storm. Andrea continued west towards the Bahamas. Shortly after making landfall in the Bahamas it dissipated. Andrea is only the 2nd storm to form in March. It did very little damage.

Barry formed south west of Cape Verde.On June 22nd Barry became a tropical storm. It reached category 1 early morning June 24th and by 12:00 It had reached category 2. It slowly began to turn upwards By June 26th it had reached Category 4. It turned to the northeast never making land fall, however there was flooding and semi-heavy rains on the east coast of the U.S, killing 10 people. The damages costed about 20.6 million USD. It's the most intense hurricane in June

Chantal formed south of Puerto Rico. It continued north and becames a Category 1 It made land fall in Puerto Rico. It turned west and made landfall in the Domnican Republic. It dissipated after it made land fall in Cuba. It caused 13 deaths in Hati. Five people have been reported missing. It did about 11 million dollars in damages

Dorian formed in the Gulf of Mexico. It headed west making land fall in mexico on July 3. It dissipated the next day close to the U.S. boarder. It caused very little damage.

Erin formed west of the Lesser Antilles. It headed north-west towards the Gulf of mexico. The outskirts of the hurricane hit Cuba. Erin made land fall in the U.S. around the border of Texas and Mississppi on the 14. It dissipated two days later. Erin caused 19 deaths and 7 people reported missing. It did about 30 million in damages. Erin is the earliest 5th storm in a season

Fernad formed west of Cape Verde. It caused lots of destruction in the Lesser Antilles hitung them as a category 3. It hit Nicaragua as a category 4 and weakened as it went north west in Central America. It caused 13 deaths in the lesser antilles, 18 deaths in Nicaragua, 17 in Honduras, 6 in El Savador, 10 in Guatemala and 2 in Mexico for a total of 66 deaths. The damage costed 1 billion USD. It dissipated after entering Mexico.

Rebekah formed south of Cape Verde. It caused massive damages and flooding in the Lesser Antilles. It made land fall in the Domnican Republic causing massive flooding and damage. It also caused flooding the Bahamas. It came very close to the coast of the US. It flooded the east coast and dumped heavy rains on the coast. It dissipated after passing under Newfoundland. It caused 57 deaths in the Lesser Antilles, 60 in the Domnican Republic , 78 in Hati, 29 in the Bahamas, 173 in the U.S and 3 in Canada. The damages costed about 20 billion USD. It is the earliest 17th storm in a season. It is also the most intense storm of the season

Retired names[]
The WMO retired the names Rebekah and Fernand. For 2019 Rebekah will be replaced with Rechell, and Fernand will be replaced by Fordon.
