This storm tore through a majority of the middle of the Philippines, leading to 114 deaths and $220 million in damages. The storm made landfall at category 5 intensity, and became extratropical whilst located over Luzon as a category 1 equivalent system.

This super typhoon hit Taiwan as a category 2 equivalent storm, leading to 12 deaths and $445 million in damages. The storm didn't impact any land areas before hitting Taiwan.

This super typhoon led to 1200 deaths, and over $4 billion in damages. The storm made landfall as a category 5 super typhoon in Japan, and then hit South Korea as a category 1, before going extratropical and dissipating as it moved inland.

This storm tore up the Pacific coast of China and Taiwan as a category 3/4 typhoon, making landfall as a category 3 in Taiwan in the process. 4877 people died, and damages reached $15.2 billion from the storm.

This super typhoon never made any landfalls, and stayed far enough away from land as to not have any impacts at all. Rip currents were observed in the open Pacific, but no deaths were reported from them.

9427 people died in this super typhoon, with damages reaching $8.47 billion in damages. The system hit the Philippines as a category 7 super typhoon, before crossing out into the South China Sea as a category 4 typhoon. The storm then intensified back to category 6 super typhoon, before hitting Vietnam, moving inland, and then finally dissipating by July 18.
