The 2059 Atlantic hurricane season is an event in the annual cycle of tropical cyclone formation. The season officially began on June 1 and will end on November 30, dates that conventionally delimit the period of each year when most tropical cyclones develop in the Atlantic basin. However, the formation of tropical cyclones is possible at any time.


The first major storm, Alicia, Became a Category-5 and made landfall in Miami, Florida as a 160 mph hurricane, Shortly after Bret made landfall there. Later in July, Claudia came extremely close to Bermuda as a Hurricane, a sustained wind in Bermuda was recorded at 51 mph. As Claudia was passing by Bermuda, Dennis was skirting the Carolinas as a Category-3, causing some damage.

The 2nd strongest storm of the season, Lee, peaked out at 190 mph. Lee made landfall in cozumel as a 160 mph Category-5. In September, the strongest of the season, Ruby, Peaked out as a 200 mph Category-6, Ruby caused major devastation to the Caribbean islands.
