Hurricane Arella

A tropical wave emerged from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Despite high vertical wind shear, it organized into a tropical depression. Only 12 hours later, the storm underwent explosive deepening and became a Catagory 5 storm. It passed by Hawaii, causing 30 deaths due to rip currents. Vertical wind shear increased which weakened Arella a bit. It then crossed into the Western Pacific region as a strong catagory 4 hurricane.

One fatality was caused when a man drowned in high seas.
Hurricane Cosme
Was a very cosmic storm that got Bart Simpson to fart. However, because Bart Simpson was on a plane at the time, the tropical storm was upgraded to a category 1 hurricane and made her first landfall in Los Angeles, CA.

Erick was the longest-lived tropical storm to not become a hurricane in EPAc history, shattering Olaf's record in 1997. Also, it is the earliest date for a season's 5th named storm, besting Elida of 1990 by three days.
