The 2018 Black Sea Cyclone Season was the first time cyclones formed in the Black Sea. The strongest cyclone was Cyclone Carrie, a cyclone that was equivalent to a category 1 hurricane.

Cyclonic depression B1 was a famous cyclone, as it was the first ever to form in the Black Sea. It dissipated a day after formation and killed no one.

Cyclone Ali was the 2nd Black Sea cyclone, and was stronger than B1. It never harmed anyone, although after this scientists panicked and tried to find out why tropical cyclones started randomly forming in the Black Sea, and how strong could they get.

Cyclone Bernard was the first Black Sea cyclone to make landfall, albeit it was an extratropical depression by then. No one was killed and it did minor damage. People became extremely worried after this, and countries around the Black Sea put millions in trying to find out the cause.

Cyclone Carrie was the strongest storm of the season. It made landfall on Russia and killed 5 people. It made $3 Billion in damages. People were extremely worried and Russia declared a state of emergency.

Cyclone Daniel was the final storm of the season. It never reached land. People were relieved it wasn't stronger than Carrie, but they were still worried.

  • Scientists, countries, and lots of others invested billions into why these storms suddenly began to form.
