Andrea peaked as a Category 1 hurricane for 18 hours before weakening to storm status, but re-attaining hurricane status for a brief 6 hours near Bermuda.

It Became extra-tropical south of nova Scotia.

Tropical Storm Barry

Barry peaked as a strong tropical storm and made landfall in northern cuba as a 65 mph storm, it went extra-tropical over the Florida keys.

Hurricane Chantal

Chantal made its first landfall in Cuba as a 70 mph tropical storm, weakened to 50 mph before strengthening to its peak as a Category 2 hurricane in the gulf.

Chantal later made landfall in Louisiana , a place still recovering from Isaac in 2012, as an 85 mph hurricane.

Chantal eventually dissipated as a depression near Evansville, Indiana.

Tropical Storm Dorian

Dorian formed about 50 miles Southwest of Tampa, Florida as a depression.

Due to strong shear, the system wad kept weak with most of its convection kept to the south part of the circulation.

After shear weakened only about 5 to 9 knots, convection came slightly closer to the center and The system was able to strengthen into Tropical Storm Dorian and attain maximum winds of 45 mph.

It made landfall near New Orleans, Louisiana as a weak 40 mph storm.

It later dissipated in southern arkansas.

Hurricane Erin

Erin began as a depression near the Dominican republic.

It strengthened to a storm 6 hours after that.

While moving west at 6 to 12 mph, it gradually strengthened to a Category 1 hurricane and attained its first peak of 85 mph.

It soon made its first landfall in the Yucatan peninsula at that intensity.

As it moved over the Yucatan, it weakened to 40 mph before strengthening back to its peak with winds of 85 mph.

It made landfall about 30 miles south of brownsville, Texas with 75 mph winds.

It later dissipated as a depression in Tulsa , Oklahoma.
