1867 Birdlantic Storm Year

Hurricane Allen (01L)

Hurricane Allen formed as a Tropical Depression east of Baftica in January 4. On January 6, the Birdland-Adilo Weather Meteorology for Certain Storms upgraded 01L to Tropical Storm Allen. By January 9, Allen became a hurricane, and rapidly intensified from 130kph (Category 1) to a 225kph (Category 5) major hurricane. Allen made landfall in the Barrier Islands, and slammed Birdland as a equivalent Cat. 4. Allen weakened to a Category 1 hurricane after it passed Birdland, and weakened to a Tropical Storm in an eyewall replacement cycle. Allen turned East, becoming a Category 2 Hurricane, nearing once again Acapulco, Birdland and becoming a Category 3. It missed Acapulco, heading once again to the West, becoming once again a Category 5 entering the Gulf Of Duckbay. Allen made landfall on Houston, Texas on January 11. Weakening to a Category 3, it re-entered the Gulf Of Duckbay and headed for Port Leplana, Duckssippi. Allen made landfall as a strong Category 4. Allen headed north and dissipated on January 26.

Allen was the strongest storm to hit Houston in ten years, right after Hurricane Julienne in 1857.

Tropical Storm Bellatrix (02L)

7 months after Allen’s wrath, a tropical wave formed east of Birdland on August 27. By August 28, it entered the warm waters of the Gulf and strengthened into Tropical Storm Bellatrix. By August 29, Bellatrix made landfall on Duckssissippi. Bellatrix added the cost of the remaining debris blown by Allen during January.

Tropical Storm Cristal (03L)

The last storm of the season formed at October 9, a Tropical Depression was quickly updated to Tropical Storm Cristal on October 10. Cristal made landfall on Dsaery Island on October 11. It caused a billion damages.

Aletta was replaced with Arlene for 1877.
