Sandra, Roslyn
Without regard to any impacts the storms may or may not have had, Fiona and its transition were largely unprecedented meteorologically. Ian was anomalous in its own right but it does fall short of Fiona, at least for me.

Ian: Earl was a breath of fresh air after a dismal August not just in the Atlantic, but globally. However it also underperformed significantly down the stretch, whereas Ian went on to become a Category 5, even if an ugly one. (if I’m missing a meme/reference for why Earl is winning, mb lmao)
Fiona: Martin was great for what it was but Fiona’s longevity as a major as well as its extratropical transition was spectacular (meteorologically)
